AREAS OF BAROLO

Barolo Italian wine par excellence , made from Nebbiolo grapes in purity . Born in the heart of the Langhe’ hills, in the territory of 11 Municipalities that are chased in a suggestive hills itinerary, chiseled by the expert hand of man and watched by imposing medieval castles, including just what Barolo, which gave its name to the wine now famous throughout the world. Starting in the direction of Grinzane Cavour Castle, source residence of the famous Count Camillo Benso of Cavour now home of the Regional wine cellar and Museum Cavour, then you move to the beating heart of wine production, from La Morra, Barolo and Monforte d'Alba. To Barolo seat of the Regional wine cellar, it is exposed, as well as bottles of all local producers, even the plastic of the production area. Along the way, will not neglect the breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from the castles of Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga d'Alba ( once a military Castle that stands between the hills ) and Castiglione Falletto ( the round tower is part of a manor house still privately owned ) but especially from the "Belvedere" of La Morra.
